The Family House is separate from the crowdfunding part of the project. We believe it is important to be clear and transparent: donations, sponsorships, and public support are intended for the shared, educational, productive, ecological, and visitor-focused parts of Three Sisters Farm — not for our private family home. The Family House will be financed privately. Its role is still important, because it gives the project a permanent human presence and a stable base from which the rest of the farm can grow.

The Family House is planned as a simple and comfortable Mediterranean home. The design should feel natural, calm, and connected to the surroundings rather than overly modern or disconnected from the land. The goal is to create a home that fits the farm, respects the island landscape, and supports everyday life. It will be practical first — a place for family, work, rest, planning, and long-term living.

Every long-term land project needs people who are there through every season. The Family House makes that possible. It allows us to live close enough to notice what the land needs: when plants need water, when animals need care, when weather changes, when repairs are needed, when guests or volunteers need help, and when the farm simply needs attention. This constant presence is one of the most important parts of building a resilient and meaningful place.
